My computer at home is a year old… wasn’t the speediest beast even then, 2.08 mhz and 512k RAM. The screen issue isn’t so noticable on my home computer as the dog that I use at work. (We won’t discuss my typing speed.)
> 2. The similarity between ndxCards and LN is that in each you construct an outline of a project and drag cards to the outline for content. ndxCards seems to have a stronger key words functionality, allowing it to be used as a database too.
There is no question that ndxCards is a better choice for data storage and retrieval. If LN has an advantage, it is that its limitations focus you on the task of composing and structuring your written work.

Agreed, but what can you expect from developers who call their product “Miss Lonelynotes?”
I haven’t made a commitment to purchase the software yet. I remain intrigued, but am disturbed by the failure of the developer to respond to my e-mailed questions. Not encouraging.
