To create a keyboard shortcut for GV, or other programs:
What you do depends on the type of Icon you use to access GV. Try this:
1. Right click on the Icon you use to bring up GV. A (context) menu should appear.
2. Left click on “Properties.”
3. A window should open showing several tabs. Left click on the “Program” tab.
4. Click on the empty line next to “Shortcut key.”
5. Decide what key combination you wish to use to bring up GV. For example, if you want to use “Alt-G,” press the “Alt” and “G” keys simultaneously. “Alt+G” should appear in the line next to “Shortcut Key.” (If this key combination disappears, then it is already assigned to something else or perhaps GV already has another combination assigned to it.)
6. Click “OK.”
7. You should now be able to bring up GV by using the key combination “Alt-G” or whatever combination you chose.
The above is a basic function of Windows shortcut icons for DOS programs.
