Steve,

Thanks for that great exigesis. Although I used Grandview for years, I never really got to grips with the “Catagory” view - mainly because I thought it was only for project management. But it clearly has many other uses.

Even within the outline view, however, GV had very useful functions such as “Send to heading”, where (as I remember) you could set up labels and assign chunks of your outline to them. People used to swear by Maxthink’s “bin sort” but I think GV’s feature was just the same.
