Zoot does not do indexed searches, but it gives you the ability to automate how your information is organized, and it is remarkably flexible, so you can continually massage your organizational structure to meet whatever your current needs are. Since it is entirely text-based, searches are generally pretty quick; although I have never had five-year’s worth of e-mails in it, so don’t know at what point it may start to get bogged down.
