The previously mentioned problem with TexNotes may be related to the Version of Windows. ZD Net has sent out the following warning:

“Wondering if you should upgrade to the SP2 version of XP? The upgrade’s free, but if it breaks your system, that’s hardly worth it. Now, Microsoft has come clean with a list of half a hundred programs that will need tweaking to work well under the new, more secure OS. We’ve got details on where to find the list, and how to fix any potential problems. Plus, we’ve got an in-depth review of Windows XP SP2, and new details on Longhorn, too!”

TexNotes is not among the listed software, but then I wouldn’t expect it to be.
