Hi, all,
On the Zoot discussion group someone mentioned a new PIM called Deviant Organizer. It is produced by GEM-X (http://www.gemx.com), the same programmers responsible for TexNotes. I’ve downloaded it this evening and am going to try putting it through its paces. It has a lot of unique features for a PIM, including a mind mapping facility. The notes node seems to incorporate all the same features as TexNotes. Other facilities include:
Daily journal
Yearly planner
Calendar
Contacts
Tasks
Each item of information can, apparently, be linked to any other (haven’t tried it yet), so you can link a journal entry with a contact or a task, for instance. Just like TexNotes, the interface is smart looking.
Has anyone else given this software a test yet? Any comments?
Steve Z.
