I haven’t seen this feature in other pims, but it is a popular feature in clip managers, such as Clipmate 6.3 (http://www.thornsoft.com) and Smartboard 4 (http://www.x2net.com). They let you assign rules to place clips in folders or act on them in other ways based on the clips titles, contents, or source. Since these products also provide for bulk pasting, it might work to organize the clips there and then rapidly transfer them to a pim periodically.

Probably the most useful feature of GrandView, Agenda, and Zoot was/is the ability one has to set up rules that tell the program that when it encounters a certain group of words in a new entry, it should automatically assign or connect the new entry to one or more specific categories or concepts.
Have any of you found other programs that can do this? That is, one doesn’t have to manually make the assignment. If so, please elaborate.
