[On the Macintosh OS 9, a program called Quickeys allowed the user to assign any key to anything anywhere. Do similar programs exist on Windows XP?]

I have heard very good comments of Power Pro ( http://powerpro.webeddie.com/
) though I haven’t used it personally. It’s much more than a keyboard macro program, allowing extended customization and automation of system and program use.
