I share Alexander’s sense that the ergonomics/aesthetics of a program matter. And I concur with his assessment of the Idea! environment… nice features but the screen’s a mess. This is also one reason I’ve avoided InfoHandler…
I readily admit, however, that this is probably my shortcoming, not the applications, though it makes me feel better to know I’m not the only one.
Having said this, I am unsure if I can prescribe what the ideal nterface I would like. Clean. Simple. Uncluttered. Lots of space for reading the contents of an item.
I like the interface on Personal Knowbase. Wish it were more powerful. Are these two things linked? The simpler the interface, the less powerful the program. Doesn’t seem like that should necessarily follow. Grandview had a simple interface, I think.
