My choice for a vitally needed feature that many outliners omit is the unlimited undo command many of us have become accustomed to in modern software. Outliners have a particular need for this functionality, yet most two-pane outliners lack _any_ ability to undo tree reorganizations. Even ADM currently lacks this ability, although the developer agrees it is needed and plans to incorporate it.
