[I am re-posting this which was posted just prior to the whatever-it-was-that-happened of Outliners.com]
Does anybody know whether Bernie DeKoven's Technography template or anything similar for the MS Word outliner is still available somewhere? I have googled around but only found archive material.
Since Word is probably the single most standard application around, I find that, as user-unfriendly as its outliner may be, it's probably the most realistic starting point for structured collaboration in writing.

Bernie DeKoven had a Technography-related web site hosted for free, I believe, by Userland. It died, I suspect, in the same way that outliners.com did when Userland shut down the free sites it was hosting. So it is possible that it will appear again if he finds a new host. You can read a bit more about what I think happened at the Yahoo group outliners-pims.

Hi.
I enquired about Technography to Bernie, and I got the reply that the price is $100. I thought it was too expensive just for a Word template, so I didn't buy it.
His email address is: bernie at deepfun.com

Peter.
