I have been impressed with MyInfo too. For me the only limiting factor is that I feel the editor functions are a bit crude. I’m hoping that in the near future the developers will be improving the functionality of the editor. Of course, at $35, it is a bargin even as is. It is just that I have enough of these programs which I have already bought that I don’t need another one… not unless it rocks my world. With a better editor, MyInfo might get there.
But I’ve been using InfoSelect fairly happily for the past four months. It is a fine information manager… but I don’t consider it an outliner, even though it allows some hierarchical organization of your information. For instance, there is no way I would ever use InfoSelect in place of the ways I use NoteMap. Two entirely different functions, even though both are often called “outliners.”
