I use BrainForest but wish it had some additional features (e.g hoist, mark & gather, clone, et al). Would it be feasible to hire a programmer to write an outliner for the Palm to my specifications? Would the cost be outrageous? If you figure that a program like Think Tank is only about 150K, then it might not involve that much code.
BTW, right now I am using Brain Forest & find that it lacks many features I'd like (e.g. hoisting, clone, mark & gather, etc.) while including a lot of features I don't need (project management, action items, date due, etc.)

I still use Brainforest, but find myself gravitating more these days to ShadowPlan (www.codejedi.com). It does have hoisting (called "Zoom") and many other features. You can download and try before buying. It also has a desktop version, even one for Linux!
