MORE has been essential for me in writing my book. In fact, I don't know if I could've done without it. Thanx! Now, however, with my new G-3 (and I tried it on another one as well) ... whenever I press "enter" to make a note, I also leave a mark on the page. I don't think it harms anything because it goes away when I sign off and on again. But I'm pretty sure it's a problem with either OS 8.1 or with the G-3 on the Mac.

I'd love to hear from someone who knows if I can trust MORE on the G-3 or not.

This program is sooo awesome, I can't believe it would stop being supported.

I had the same problem a short time ago, but now its gone. I don't know why its gone.

I'm running 8.6 on a 7500 w/G3 card and MORE seems to work fine. Perhaps 8.6 fixed something. Who knows?

I don't know if this is the cause of your problem or not, but there's a problem with the ATI RAGE Video drivers on the G3 that can cause some cosmetic redraw problems in older software.

I had trouble with MORE 3.1 on a 2300c under MacOS 8.1. When I moved to MacOS 8.51 and now MacOS 8.6, the trouble went away. I think there was a bug in the controls manager in early System 8 software that had trouble with the refresh at the application level.

Just speculation... for what it's worth.
