ShadowPlan is well thought of and frequently updated, though I haven’t tried it for a while. My own impression was that it suffered from all the feature limitations of the other Palm outliners (no proper promote/demote, &c.) and merely camouflaged them with a lot of cosmetic interface options.

I still use BrainForest myself because you can edit files directly on anything back to a 68k Mac, but development has rather fallen behind during its various changes of owner.

Let us know how you get on! I think the world is still waiting for a Palm outliner that does the basics properly…
