I’ve just made a semi-public alpha release of Hog Bay Notebook 3.0. This version is a complete rewrite from previous versions and supports most/all of MORE core outlining features including hoisting, cloning and gathering.

Hog Bay Notebook doesn’t have the other non-outliner views, and it’s missing many of the presentation and printing options. But it has indexed based searching, links, and applescript support to help make up for that :)

I’m hoping all you outlining experts here can give me some feedback on this application. It’s an alpha release (features are missing, bugs exist), but it’s plenty stable enough to work with and try out for a while. So please let me know where i’ve got things wrong and what improvements should be made. Download URL is here:

This new version will be a free upgrade from the current 2.2 version.
