In evaluating NoteMap 2, these are the weaknesses I see:
1. In exporting to Word, headings become elements of a number list instead of headings.
2. Lacks body text distinct from headings.
3. Allows only 9 levels.
4. Does not allow splitting screen to view separate locations in one document.
Its strengths (as compared with most of the competition):
1. Implements most outlining commands in an intuitive fashion.
2. Allows successive hoists and dehoists.
3. Easily exports to word and imports various formats.
Comments?

I'm quite impressed by NoteMap 2. And I'm glad to see a customizable keyboard interface has been added, although am disappointed that it only allows one-key bindings, and doesn't allow customizing of basic editing keys (such as "cursor left"); as is, it doesn't seem possible to add a WordStar-keystroke interface to it, which is the one thing I'd love to see.
