I’m trying to keep a list of all the different outliner programs to help me evaluate them. Here’s where I’m at so far:

<o32>www.Wjjsoft.com ñ MyBase *****
<o33>www.Zootsoftware.com ñ Zoot *****
(I suppose MORE should be added to this list)
Palm OS
http://www.codejedi.com - ShadowPlan
http://www.natara.com ñ Bonsai

Both the junk and the gold are included above. The “*****” are the ones that interest me the most. Zoot looks like the best all-around PIM, though I prefer TreePad for basic outlining. Its relatively inexpensive, and gets the job done. The newer versions are packed with features.
On the Palm, ShadowPlan seems to have the most features and the largest follwing. ShadowPlan’s creator is very accessible and communicates constantly with his users on message boards. ShadowPlan’s weakness is its Desktop version.
Natara’s Bonsai is Shadow’s direct competitor. The Palm version doesn’t match ShadowPlan in features, but is still an excellent program. Bonsai has a well-developed desktop version that syncs fully with the Palm. Its also possible to export directly from the Palm to a TreePad file.
Anybody, let me know if I’m missing something from the above list.
