I just discovered MORE today and this community and I felt an urge to contribute to the first discussion I came across :-) Yes, MORE exports to txt and Word and MacWrite and others. Even better, for me, OmniOutliner in OS X opens MORE outline files directly, complete with disclosure triangles, without the need to export. As well you can create an OmniOutliner document and save as a MORE txt file. MORE cannot open this directly but if you copy and paste into a new MORE document it will create the headers and subheaders with the disclosure ‘crosses’. I did not find this to be the case when saving a document as a Word 4.x and opening it in Word(Office X). This ability of OmniOutliner is great for me because, though my desktop is an OS X machine where I use OO religiously, my hardy PB1400 is where I do my ‘thinking and figuring’ and MORE helps me tremendously. Hope this is useful to someone.
