I just replaced Win 98 with Win 2000 and needed to reinstall CaseSoft's outliner NoteMap. The process was interesting:
1. CaseSoft now claims that a new version of NoteMap won't be developed until after it developes a new version of TimeMap. Before it had said NoteMap was next in line.
2. Apparently you have to contact CaseSoft to obtain a new Registration Code when you reinstall.
3. Also you need to obtain from it an activation code when you reinstall.
Question: What happens if CaseSoft closes up shop? It claims that it will maintain a Web site that will have needed info, codes, etc. But will it?
