Steve,

Many thanks for your analysis. I have downloaded Keynote and TreePad lite and upgraded to version 7 of Inspiration. I plan to look at Keynote, TreePad and webcollect over the weekend. I am leaning toward the traditional outliner (learning curve) and will let you know what direction I go. Jonathan is up to his ears in 3x5 cards and notes doing his Imigration project. We are using Inspiration on this project and he seems to be doing very well with it. I will look at Maple and Jot Plus when #1 son completes his project. I never expected at 61 to be doing homework! Thanks again for your suggestions and hopefully making homework easier for us.
