The print to PDF technique is good, but yes, the PC person can't edit it.
I defined a Library style that gives the first line of a paragraph a double space. Then I copy the top of the outline, then paste into a Mac program (Appleworks, for instance). Then I save it as an RTF file, which I find that everybody can edit. A little more trouble, but not much.
