ADM is now claimed to be an "outliner on steroids." Any comments about it from people who have tried/used it would be appreciated.

I tried ADM when it was first released. That's several months ago, if not longer, so I only have the broadest of impressions to share. I remember being impressed by ADM, but it also seemed to be way more than just an outliner. To use it effectively, you would really have to apply it to your entire work style/flow/organization. I wasn't ready to make that commitment to a new piece of software. Strictly as an outliner to supplement the other software I work with, NoteMap is a better choice. However, I do believe that ADM is an interesting concept that has potential.

Hi there,

Help is on the way! For those interested in ADM for use as an outliner but unable to initially adjust to our programs novel interface, a new additional set of classic collapsable outliner views of the data is being added and will be available in the commercial download approximately four weeks from now (around the middle of February).

After that, we will be adding higher level capabilities, such as:

* automatic html formatting ability in the textcards,
* network enablement features for collaborative use,
* multiple windowing for simultanious display of topics with their textcards,
* and much more,

All this is intended to prepare ADM to serve as the client for the forthcoming worldwide outline ( See www.worldwideoutline.net for further info).

I'll post a headsup here in outliners.com when the classic-enabled version is available from our commercial website at www.adm21.net
(This should be around the middle of February.)

Cordially,
Eric Sommer, CEO, Advanced Data Management. P.S. Any queries can be directed to me at eric@adm21.net
