I can’t believe it! MORE runs on OS X ? Phenomenal. Why oh why won’t some software developer seize the opportunity and develop a next-generation MORE ?? It just baffles me. Like there isn’t demand for a good web site architecture planning tool and flowchart display app?

It’s as though someone developed VHS VCRs (from betamax of course), but then stopped—and never develeped the VHS camcorder, the 8mm camcorder, the Hi-8 camcorder, and now DV and DVCAM camcorders.

Can someone explain this to me? Is it some bizarre legal encumberment with ownership of the underlying code? If so, what is stopping a software developer today from creating MORE’s successor?

Stunned—and will go install MORE 3.1 on my new G4 dual processor MDD running OS 10.2.1 ... we’ll see….
