Hey outliner enthusiasts,
It’s taken me awhile to realize that I can learn well when I outline fresh ideas quickly. For now the most convenient program has been Microsoft Word’s outline view. I’m using more of linux now and am trying to find an equally strong outliner in this OS that has the following features: light (not a resource hog), a customizable keyboard for common functions and special symbols, multiple views through cloning or tab pages and hyperlinking to already made files. The closest I’ve found is Xemacs’s outline packages but it doesn’t offer simple order switching of header or nodes. The one outliner that I’d really like to try is More 3.1 but I don’t know how it’s possible to install in Windows or Linux. Of course, I have a long wish list but if anyone could point a program or explain how to try out More 3.1 outside of a Mac I’d appreciate it.
Outline away,
Gabriel
