Are there any good outliners that work well for taking realtime notes (such as in a lecture)? Both notemapper and mindmapper are among those that claim this capability, but I wonder if there is something better. Any opinions?

If I were looking for an outliner to use for realtime notetaking, I would look for a single-pane outliner with a complete and easy set of keyboard commands. I wouldn't want to be messing around with menus or moving between windows.

I've used NoteMap during meetings and am happy with it.

Depends on what you want to do with the notes:
Just review them?
Use them as a reference source?
