I'm a former CP/M, DOS, Windows, Mac OS user. For reasons I trust are obvious, I've decided to move to the Linux desktop. I want a good outliner.

It's not good. The best out there (based on research to date) is either a Java based web outliner, or a Linux version of Brainsforest.

What happened? After MORE, did no one other than Dave focus on an outliner-based writing tool? Did no one carry that tool to Linux?
