A couple years ago, I reluctantly switched from Mac to Wintel PC (please - no death threats!). Until now I've struggled with
MS Word's lame outline processor. I was a big fan of MORE and still
miss it. So today I discovered Outliners.com and am writing in hopes that someone might suggest something other than going back to Mac.
Could anyone please recommend a good outline processor that will run on a Win 2k machine? I need expandable/collapsable headers, header formatting, intuitive access to various outline levels, and decent text editing. Shareware would be preferable but is not essential so I can put it thru the paces before I buy.
Thanks!

Two-window, no graphics:
Jot+ (www,kingstairs.com)
Two window, graphics:
Treepad -various "strengths" (www.treepad.com)
Maple (www.crystaloffice.com)
Keynote (free) (http://www.lodz.pdi.net/~eristic/free/index.html
There are many others, some very simple, some with more features. Unfortunately, some are buggy and may crash your system big time. I have run all of the above in Win 98 without any major crashes.
Or you can install GoBack and be more reckless, or should I say "wreckless"?.
