Thinktank for Windows XP

I just got a Dell laptop running Windows XP and it won’t run Thinktank.

I tried running both install.exe and tank.exe directly, and I get a screen but the keyboard won’t respond. I know there are better outliners out there, some of which I have tried, but “my whole life” is on a Thinktank file going back over 12 years and I don’t want to spend the time moving all that stuff.

Anyone have any tips for installing it? I know it must be possible.
