Hi all-
Wanted to let the group know that I've gone ahead and purchased ADM, the data manager/organizer I've been evaluating for awhile. This is unremarkable news unless taken against the backdrop of my keen reluctance to pay for software (or much else, for that matter).
I like the way these folks do business, and I consider my $ a vote for their approach, incentive for continuous development and a reasonable investment for some very usefule software.
I'm still interested in feedback from anyone eles on the list who's
using ADM.

Jonathan,
I have been looking at ADM too. While the program seems fairly straight forward, incorporating it into my crazy organizational system seemed like a lot of effort, so I only dabbled in it. Seems like it's the kind of application that you can really only judge by immersing yourself in it. So I'd be interested to hear progress reports from you from time to time. Thanks.

Hi Jonathan,
I've been lurking in the list for about a month. Like a lot of people here, I've rediscovered the usefulness and joy of outlining through outliners.com. Thanks to Dave Winer for that!
I've been using Inspiration and Notemap for a while now, and like both products. I have tried an endless collection of PIMs. As for my latest foible, I'll just say this: if you get tempted to get any close to the Franklin Covey software, take a deep breath and run, fast, the other way :-)
In response to your question, and because of the comments here, plus my own curiosity, I have decided to try ADM, despite the fact that I do not really have that much time available. I hope it will prove good. I will post my own opinions here as I discover my way through it.
Cheers,

Hi Jonathan:
I'm using ADM, too. I'm a pastor and I use ADM to develop sermon outlines. I especially like the ability to pin text so I can see it as I create other parts of the outline. It's the first outliner I've been excited about since PCOutline. I looking forward to watching it develop. The ability to produce standard format outlines would be a big plus for me. All in all, though, it does a good job of helping me get my ideas out without getting in the way.
