Since my last posting (1265), I have downloaded a dozen or so trial outliners. Most are 2 column (I find an inferior format), a few 3 (worse~). Of the 1 column, NoteMap is by far the best. It still lacks a few features of More (still a competitive outliner by todays standards, and amazing for a decade old one!), but adds things More never had, like color highlighting, file association, etc. Plus, NoteMap is a very early version, and since they clearly "stole" many ideas from More, hopefully they will steal more in their release due the end of this year! My top 3 wish list: More than 9 outline levels; a free "reader" that others can use to read files created by NoteMap, but not create new ones; diagraming abililty (like Inspiration--an improvement over More's)
