Hi Brent,
I have seen TheBrain two years ago for the first time and am still impressed. The funny thing is that I still don’t use it. I think I should… You know I’m a core-user of MaxThink. Perhaps thats one reason why I still hesitate: Neil promises a graphical interface in MaxThink and a Windows version of Houdini.
The problem with software is that you have to dig in, explore and find your own way in using it (regularly).
Another thing is that I have to capture my ‘worldview’in a personal classification scheme in which I want to manage my bookmarks/favourites, directories/files, outlook folders etc. Then I can specify which software I use for which purpose. (MaxThink remains my multipurpose outliner).
Other software I keep an eye on is: Mindmanager, Correlate and Axon.
In general the software mentioned here is quite complementary to eachother. I think Correlate and TheBrain are most overlapping, while the Interface of TheBrain is unique.
Know what? I’ll register TheBrain!
Ernest.
