I just joined this group. I am searching for an outliner. In the 80s and early 90s I used ThinkTank and Grandview. Are these outliners outdated for current use? If so, what currently available outliners can be recommended?
Perhaps this subject has come up before, and the discussion is archived. If so, I would appreciate advice on how to access it.
Also, am I in the right place to ask these questions?
Thanks in advance for your help.
Jay

I recently purchased NoteMap from a company called CaseSoft, and I'm pretty pleased with it. It's no MORE yet, but it has some flair. Especially convenient is its one-click export to Word. And its only in version 1.0, so there may be lots of opportunity to convince casesoft to add all the great features we outline junkies crave :)
You can see reviews/comments on other contemporary tools in this discusssion group as well, but I thought I'd mention my experience with NoteMap ... I think it's the best of the contemporary crop.
Web site is http://www.casesoft.com/notemap/index.htm
Good luck,
Steve
