I have tried Notemap. It is a well thought outliner, easy and pleasant to use. I get the impression that the program has a solid base, well structured and is flexible enough to be improved in many directions. The feature I would most like to see in Notemap is Columns of different types (date, number, text , checkmark, pop-up etc.) viewed in outline view. This would be a powerful tool to organise a lot of information like Infodepot (which I first heard about here and which has a nice interface), Ecco (which is no longer developed) and to a lesser extent Skyrul Pro. http://www.pebble-software.com

The next more important feature is a graphic calendar to record appointments, to dos etc.

Hi! Thank you for your input on NoteMap. We're planning on adding the features you're discussing (columns of various types) as we go forward with future development of NM. These features won't be in 1.0 put that should appear in the 2.0 version we will release next year. Sorry they won't be available sooner!

Thank you also for your positive comments. I'd like to think you'll get good value out of NM using 1.0. One minor point, you can set check boxes as your label style for various levels. I'm not suggesting this is a replacement for the db features you're requesting. Just wanted to let you know of a minor feature that might be of use until 2.0.
