I’m impressed by the recurrent praise in outlines.com for Grandview, and especially for its ability to categorize and assign due dates to outline items.
I’m Eric Sommer, Co-CEO of ADM: The Knowledge Management Desktop - an integrated outliner, file and URL manager, and information management system slated for beta-release around early July. (Write to me at
if you want to be added to our beta list.)
At this time we are too preoccupied with basic development to entertain many additional feature suggestions (though we will do so gladly after beta release) However, given the strong praise for Grandview in outliners.com, we would like to consider adding some Grandview type features.
Though we cannot promise anyting at this point, we would like to consider adding parrellel capabilities to ADM, and would appreciate it if an outliners.com member could provide us with a copy of grandview for review purposes.
If you want to send us a zipped file with the grandview files, you can direct it to:
(I briefly had a copy of Grandview but do not have access to it at this time.)
In addition, any comments from outliners.com members on how you might like to see these features implemented, or extended, would be welcome.
Finally, the ADM interface is radically different - and we think radically more powerful - than traditional outlining systems, so the implementation and appearance of any grandview-type features would naturally appear somewhat differently.
Thanks in advance, Eric Sommer, Co-CEO, ADM
