Yank - an outliner for GNU/Linux

Does anybody use yank (an XML-based outliner for GNU/Linux that masquerades as a note keeper / to-do list organizer)?

I’m looking for other XML-based outliners for Linux.

I’m also wondering how yank compares to outliners available on PC and Mac platforms.
